Clean Air and Climate Change Summit moves from words to actions
The Clean Air Partnership and the GTA Clean Air Council will host the 2010 Clean Air and Climate Change Summit on Wednesday, June 2, 2010.
The event will celebrate member jurisdictions that have been leaders in implementing action targets outlined by the 2008&2009 GTA-CAC Declaration. Participants will also discuss the priorities put forth in the 2010 Inter-governmental Declaration on Clean Air and Climate Change.
Speakers will include Toronto Mayor David Miller, Chris Turner (author of The Geography of Hope) and David Buckland (creator of the Cape Farewell Project and the 10 Initiative).
